Bollywood Celebrities Raise Funds & Voice For J&K Flood Victims: In the beginning of September, heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir caused severe flooding, the state’s worst in 50 years. Ten districts are heavily affected, and a number of districts are not reachable yet. In the region of Jammu, landslides triggered by heavy rainfall have caused serious damages to infrastructure and agricultural land. The army has launched a major rescue operation and has reportedly Over 1,42,000 people have been rescued from the flood-ravaged parts of Jammu and Kashmir so far, as the relief operations launched by the Armed forces entered the 12th day on Saturday.

Bollywood Celebrities Raise Funds For Kashmir Flood Victims

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has joined hands with an NGO to help raise funds for the victims of floods in Jammu and Kashmir. The 40-year-old’Krrish 3′ star has taken to crowd-funding site Ketto foundation to raise funds for 200 survival kits.

Kunal Kapoor In association with an NGO, he has started a fundraiser to help raise money for the terrible situation in Kashmir, the actor, who has featured in films like ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’

After winning the kabbadi match and his trip to Rome, Abhishek Bachchan is back to work. However, the actor still decided to contribute for the Kashmir victims.

Yet another actor Varun Dhawan. Mentioning about his collaboration with Ketto initiative, Varun revealed that he wanted to do something for them but did not have a clear idea as to how to go about it. Hence, he teamed up with Ketto and has decided to raise funds for Kashmiri people.
