Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson Release Date Postponed: The Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Action Jackson’ will now release in December. The film was earlier slated to release on 7th November although now it has been pushed further by a month and will be releasing on 5th December this year. Interestingly, the film will not face any competition but the next release after ‘Action Jackson’ will be Aamir Khan’s ‘P.K’. Also now that the film has been postponed, Shahrukh Khan’s Happy new Year will now get three week straight before another release hits the theaters. Well, it seems this date is change is beneficial for all three Action Jackson, P.K and Happy New Year.
Apparently, the shift in the date was planned by the makers so as to get Action Jackson a free run for two weeks post its release without competition. The film is being directed by Prabhu Deva and is being produced under the banner of Eros International.
The film features Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam, Manasvi Mamgai and Kunnal Roy Kapur in lead roles. In March, Prabhu Deva announced that he was remaking Telugu blockbuster Dookudu of Mahesh Babu with Ajay Devgn but Ajay demands fresh script after the result of Himmatwala. After that, Prabhu Deva adopted fresh script for Ajay and titled it as Action Jackson. Later, in May, 2013, official announcement of the full cast was out and they revealed that Ajay, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam and a South film star would be the cast. In July 2013, Jacqueline Fernandez had opted out of the film due to date clashes with her other film Kick, She was then later replaced by Sonakshi Sinha Later Manasvi Mamgai , Sonu Sood and Kunaal Roy Kapur were added to the cast. Dance will be choreographed by Vishnu Deva and action coordination will be done by Ravi Varma. First time Ajay is working with Prabhu Deva. The movie has high octaine action sequences. Music will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
