If we believe on latest grapevine, Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra to Star in Karan Johar’s upcoming Venture named Brothers. The film will be produced by Karan Johar and is tentatively named ‘Warrior’. The movie Brothers is apparently a remake of the 2011 Hollywood boxing drama. Untill or unless the scrit become final, it is on hold. But It seems that Sidharth Malhotra’s Bollywood career is about to receive a big boost. The actor is slated to star alongside the ‘Khiladi of Bollywwod’ Akshay Kumar in a film. To add to the incentives, the film is being produced by Karan Johor making it a project to watch out for. If this film is a success it can become a big turning point in the career of the young actor.

Warrior is about the youngest son of an alcoholic former boxer, who returns home, where he’s trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament. The path to win the tournament puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother. From the looks of the casting, Sidharth Malhotra will be in Tom Hardy’s role while, Akshay Kumar will be in Joel Edgerton’s role. Though, Akshay Kumar hasn’t confirmed yet but Sidharth Malhotra is very keen on working with khiladi Man.

As we Know about the Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar has extensive training in various forms of martial arts and often showcases his skills in his movies. On the other hand it will be interesting to see how Sidharth, who has a romantic image, copes with such a physically demanding role. The film will be a joint venture between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and production house, Endemol. The rein of direction will be in the hands of ‘Agneepath’ director Karan Malhotra. As per the report the production team has said “The script of the first half is ready and will be given to Akshay for a read next week. Then karan johar, Akshay and Punit will have another meeting to flesh out the second half.” Locations for the shoot will be finalized within August and the film is most likely to go to the floors at the end of this year.
Akshay kumar who is known as an action thriller. His last two ventures ‘Boss’ and ‘Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai Dobara’ failed to set the box office on fire, But after the success of holiday and good response of entertainment on box office Akshay is all set to scorch screen, in karan johar film, with his action image next year and putting his high hopes on this film.
On the other hand Sidharth Malhotra, which is emerging star of Bollywood has grown up his image in industry after the huge success of his latest release ‘Ek Villian’ and he always praises with his acting by the critics. And it will be interesting to see how would they lead their role. We wish the film get more buzz up in the air when it is set to go on floors.
