Akshay Kumar & Shruti Hassan Upcoming Movie Wiki: The Action hero of Bollywood none other than Akshay Kumar is coming next year April with masaala entertainment film Gabbar, it is Hindi action drama film, directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film is a remake of Vijaykanth starrer Ramanaa. It features Akshay Kumar, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Sunil Grover will play important supporting roles. The soundtrack and film score are composed by Sajid-Wajid. Chitrangada Singh will perform an item number. Earlier the film scheduled was set to release 23 jan-2015 but now it has been postponed to 3-04-2015, Because clash of Akshay’s Films Simultaneously.

Release Date
The film is slated to release on 3rd April 2015. Originally Akshay Kumar had two releases slated for Republic Day 2015 week-end include ‘The Baby’ and ‘Gabbar’. To avoid clash at the box office, release of Gabbar is shifted to 3rd April 2015 and ‘The Baby’ will stick to its original release schedule of Republic Day 2015 weekend. This might be the first time when multiple movies of same hero are scheduled to release on the same date, he will have to battle it out with Saif Ali Khan. Because Kabir Khan’s Phantom starring Saifu and Katrina Kaif is also releasing on April 3. Well, it’s better to clash with another star then to have two of own films release simultaneously.
