Anushka Sharma Hot Look in Bombay Velvet

Anushka Sharma who gave a blockbuster hit recently with PK, is ready to rock and roll in her upcoming film, Bombay Velvet. The movie gets its name from the fictitious night club Anushka works in. Her new look from the promotional video of the film has been revealed where she looks  gorgeous. The song has been titled as Mohabbat Buri Bimari for which composer Amit Trivedi has collaborated with Jazz artist Mikey McCleary. Ranbir Kapoor plays Johnny Balraj, a street fighter who turns into a tycoon in the movie, and Anushka Sharma plays an up and coming nightclub jazz singer at a club and Ranbir’s love interest. Doesn’t Anushka look absolutely stunning? We have been waiting to get a glimpse on how either of the stars have been styled for the much awaited venture and finally have come across a picture of Anushka! The PK actress was recently shooting for a promotional song from Bombay Velvet and her look in the same screams Marilyn Monroe. The actress’s retro look is very similar to that of Marilyn with the bob curled outwards, red lips and curled eyelashes. Anushka will be essaying the role of a jazz singer in the film and we can’t wait to see how she pulls off this one!

In the film, Anushka stars along with Ranbir Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Karan Johar. The movie gets its name from the fictitious night club Anushka works in. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is slated to release in May 15, 2015. Anushka surely looks drop dead gorgeous in this get up. We love the retro styled hair and makeup, and the long silver earrings add to the glamorous appeal, followed by the Marilyn styled pose being pulled of by the actress!
