Movie starring Akshay Kumar in lead role along with Anu Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Lisa Haydon and Paresh Rawal are in supporting roles. This movie is the remake of 1982 superhit movie `Shaukeen` which was directed by Basu Chatterjee and Ashok Kumar and Utpal Dutt were in lead role. The Shaukeens movie is being produced by Ashvini Yardi under the banner of Grazing Goat Pictures. Initially, Nargis Fakhri was signed for the film against Akshay but then she left the project for an unnamed Hollywood film, then this role got offered to Shraddha Kapoor. Finally actress Lisa Haydon replaced her character and has now started filming. The story revolves around three gentlemen who are lecherous and try to get lucky with a young girl Rati Agnihotri, which is being played by Lisa Haydon. Shaukeen is a moderate budget movie which will be shooted in Mauritius, Delhi and some other places. Akshay Kumar’s Shaukeen movie is expected to be made on a moderate budget of Rs 40 cr. Approx.
